Ricinus Communis

What is Ricinus Communis:  It is commonly known as Castor Oil. It is indigenous to the South-eastern Mediterranean basin, Eastern Africa and India, but widespread throughout tropical regions.

Why we use it: It is an incredibly versatile oil and one of our ingredient in our Follicle Stimulant .When used in our HH Follicle Stimulant, castor oil helps lubricate hair shafts, which increases flexibility and decreases the risk of hair breakage. When used regularly, this helps keep your follicles healthy and moisturized. It also has the ability to improve circulation to the hair follicle and promote hair growth. Castor oil is rich in fatty acids and has the ability to preserve moisture in the skin, it enhances the health of the hair follicles and, in turn, promotes healthy hair growth as well as protect against hair loss. It also helps to reduce the risk of dandruff on hair or beard. In addition it is packed with antimicrobial and antifungal properties that keep skin clean and fend off bacterial growth and has even been shown to reduce psoriasis.

Other benefits: Castor Oil is sourced from cold pressed castor beans which contains essential omega fatty acids, vitamin E, Magnesium and other potent minerals. It is also very rich in ricin-oleic acid, a type of fatty acid found to fight inflammation.
