What is Hibiscus Extract, is a genus of flowering plants in the mallow family, Malvaceae. The genus is quite large, comprising several hundred species that are native to warm temperate, subtropical and tropical regions throughout the world

Why we use it: The root of the hibiscus is rich in vitamin C, the deficiency of which is known to cause hair loss. The flower stimulates hair regrowth from dormant follicles and bald patches. This helps to combat hair loss by stimulating  hair growth through improving circulation to the scalp and supplying nutrition to the hair follicles, as well as impart shine. It is used in our HH Multi - Use Leave in Conditioner due to its amazing moisturizing properties

Other benefits: It is known for its amazing would healing properties, moisturization, exfoliation and anti Ageing of both hair and skin. It is also used as an effective antibacterial, antimicrobial, and antioxidant. It also provides protection against damaging free radicals and known for promoting healthy cell regeneration for the hair and skin. Its antiseptic properties help to prevent skin infections and promote wound healing. The anthocyanins present in hibiscus promote the production of elastin and cell turnover in your skin, thus making it appear youthful and supple. It has potential anti-ageing effects on the skin against UVB-induced photoaging
