Xanthan Gum

Products we use it in: Moisturising Thickening Gel

What is Xanthan Gum - It is a natural gum polysaccharide created through fermentation of sugar (glucose or sucrose) by Xanthomonas campestris bacteria.

Why we use it:  In our HH Moisturising Gel it is used as a thickener or rheology modifier and emulsion stabilizer. Our Xanthan Gum is a higher purity, cosmetic grade made without hydration retardants for quicker thickening.

Other benefits: It can hold water, helping hair to retain moisture.
